The HOPE 2023 Symposium, held on 30 January 2023 under the auspices of HH Sayyed Bilarab bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, marked a significant milestone in advancing people-centered urban planning and design across Oman and the wider MENA region.
The symposium introduced a regional platform focused on placing people at the heart of development, highlighting the importance of public spaces, community wellbeing, and healthier urban environments. These discussions aligned with global frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the New Urban Agenda, positioning HOPE as a meaningful contributor to ongoing urban transformation in the region.
